About the studio
Ada Kowalczyk opened a single room above a Clifton bakery in 2019 with one rule: show the healed photograph, not the fresh one. Everything else follows from it.
Eight weeks later is the truth
Fresh cosmetic tattooing looks dark, sharp and impressive. Six weeks later it has softened by half, and that is what you will actually wear. So every photograph on this site was taken at eight weeks, and every client is invited back at eight weeks for the touch-up that is already in the price.
Ten days of doing very little
Keep it dry for the first day, then a thin layer of the balm we give you, morning and night, for ten days. No make-up on the area, no swimming, no sun. It will flake; do not help it. Then send us a photograph at day ten, and again at eight weeks.
The studios
Both rooms are on the first floor, both have a private room for restorative work, and both are ten minutes from the station.
